Disability & Special Needs Support Services
Our Special Needs Support Services deliver 1:1 support to persons who have developmental or intellectual disabilities, autism, or dual diagnosis. We work towards developing independent and semi-independent living skills. We work with youth transitioning to adulthood, focusing on life and social skills training, and can assist with connection and accompaniment to job skills training activities.
Transformation, change, and growth empowerment can happen at home, the place where potential is unlocked.
Support can include:

Positive behaviour reinforcement

On-the-job skills training and support (supporting individuals at their workplace)

Transition support to high school or adulthood

Accompaniment in the community, to grocery store, or appointments

Developing and implementing self-care routine

Support with personal care needs such as: feeding and dressing etc.

Support with using assistive devices

Outings to outdoor activities, parks, indoor playgrounds, etc.

Assistance with applying for government supports such as Passport Funding, DSO, SSAH, etc.

Explore available community resources and liaise with community agencies, government agencies, etc.
